Our Contract with You

When you place an order, you are offering to buy the product(s) from us and we will send you an order acknowledgement. However, your order will only be accepted by us once your product(s) have been delivered to you. Until then we can decline to supply the goods – we will try to ensure that this never happens but we do, however, reserve the right not to fulfill your order for any reason if, for example, we have made an error on the price or similar or we simply can't get hold of the model you need. In the event of these circumstances we will refund you any price you’ve paid to us.

We reserve the right not to accept an order for any reason and we won’t be liable to you or anyone else in these circumstances.

Website Accuracy

Please be aware than even though a delivery day may have been selected this delivery day is due to stocking and availability, while we endeavour to keep our site updated with our stocking quantities sometimes this information can be inaccurate. If this is the case we will inform you of the products availability and either offer a full refund or an alternative product. All the dimensions provided on our site are as accurate as possible. Please be aware that the information stated is provided directly from the manufacturer, these dimensions are only approximate.


All prices include VAT. No contract is created until we have accepted your order. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers we will not process your order and will instead alert you immediately to the actual price of the goods. You will then have the option to proceed at this updated price. We will only process any such order with your explicit authority.


Product images, descriptions and specifications are shown for guidance only; for example, cabinet/case colours may vary, television stands shown may differ from those supplied, remote control designs may vary during manufacturer’s production runs etc. Some products may require set-up and/or assembly. For example; TV stands and cabinets may need assembly. Washing machines need to have transit bolts removed.


All products are supplied guaranteed for a minimum period of 12 months following the date of delivery.

Products are sold for domestic use only.


You won't be surprised to learn that you can pay with more or less any type of credit/debit card. This includes Maestro, Delta, MasterCard, or Visa card and we do all we can to ensure your details are secure. We also accept PayPal on all online orders, and this doesn't cost you any extra.
If there are any problems with receiving payment, we'll let you know.

Delivery Details

Free local delivery to all items over the value of £100.00. To find the delivery out if you’re within our delivery area please into your postcode into the checkout and it will present the relevant information. If you’re out of our delivery area its best to email us on sales@combensapps.co.uk sales@combensapps.co.ukand we can assist. Our delivery slots between the hours of 09:00-17:00. We offer paid timed am or pm slots but reserve the right to refuse if required. We will give you a call the day before with a 3–4-hour timed slot to insure you don’t have to wait in all day. All local deliveries are completed via our in-house installation team which has years of experience and are always happy to help. If an item is in stock, we can sometimes offer next day delivery if this is not showing on our webpage you can always call and we can see what we can do.

Delivery Limitations

Occasionally something will happen out of our control that closes roads, like floods snow or other adverse weather conditions or other things like, sporting events, which result in closed roads. In this event we'll block any affected dates out of the available delivery calendar. If you've already selected your delivery date and you're affected, we'll contact you as soon as possible to arrange alternative delivery options. We will do what we can, but can’t be held liable if we can’t fulfill delivery due to reasons beyond our control.

Unfortunately, on the rare occasions where a delivery is unsuccessful, we're not liable for costs incurred. This might include things like a third-party engineer or food deliveries.



We offer an installation service for most of the products we sell, but we won't be able to connect your new items if:

  • Any electrical/plumbing supplies needed fail the delivery team's testing or are unsuitable.
  • Any water supply needed cannot be isolated or is unsuitable.
  • Any drainage/waste facilities needed are unusable.
  • Mechanical adjustments are required to the item(s) to overcome such things as water pressure etc. Alterations to existing plumbing and electrical are required.
  • Please note that our premium connection service is not available at commercial properties that don't have a secondary domestic meter.

If you're making use of a connection/installation service and haven’t opted for our disconnection service, please disconnect (and defrost if necessary) the appliance before we arrive.

Right to Cancel

Your right to cancel an order for goods starts from the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods. This 14-day period is the time you have to decide whether to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to return the goods. You should receive a refund within 14 days of the goods being received back. A deduction can be made if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of the customer handling the goods more than was necessary. The extent to which a customer can handle the goods is the same as it would be if you were assessing them in a shop. There are some exemptions to our returns policy, if you have broken the seal on health or hygiene products you will not be able to return even if within 14 days, including but not limited to headphones/shavers/toothbrushes.

If Products are Faulty

  1. If your item has a confirmed fault within 30 days of delivery, you will be able to return this as an exchange or for a full refund.
  2. If a fault is found with your item after 30 days of being delivered (but within 6 months) we will repair or replace the item as requested (unless one option is disproportionate). If we are unable to repair or replace the item, a partial refund will be offered if you choose to keep the product or it can be returned for a full refund.
  3. With faults found after 6 months that you can prove were present when delivered, Hughes will use the same guidelines in point 2 for processing your repair or replacement.

You can get advice regarding your legal rights from your local Citizens Advice Bureau or the Chartered Trading Standards Institute. Nothing in these terms will affect your legal rights.
