An 8kg drum makes the TKHP8HW a natural partner to a standard 8kg washing machine, taking a full wash across in one go rather than in two batches. It is a heat pump dryer, so the warm air is recirculated and the moisture condensed out inside the cabinet. No vent hose or external wall is needed and the machine can sit wherever there is a socket.

Heat pump drying runs the drum cooler than a vented or condenser dryer. Cycles take longer as a result, but the gentler heat is better for cottons, wool and stretch fabrics, which is the trade customers are usually happy to make once it is explained.

Sensor drying removes the guesswork. The machine reads the moisture left in the load and ends the cycle at the dryness level selected, instead of tumbling to a fixed timer, so towels are not baked stiff and a half load finishes in half the time. Winter Guard allows operation in an unheated garage or outbuilding, and a 30 minute quick dry handles small loads that are needed in a hurry.
